It has been FIVE YEARS since they have been in our area, so let’s give them a good reunion at The Merry Widow on Saturday, March 28th, with support from The Iceman Special; who have been killin’ it all over the region!

Greenhouse Lounge (Jacksonville, FL)

Greenhouse Lounge is an electronic trio that combines the computer based production of a DJ, accompanied by rock guitar leads, heavy synthesized bass and live drums. They are adept at merging these rumbling dub basslines with pumping electronica beats, breakbeat dynamics and staggering sample manipulation. Their music can be described as a euphoric, hypnotic based sound.

The Iceman Special (New Orleans, LA)

The Iceman Special is a 4 piece outfit transplanted from the swamps of Louisiana to New Orleans. They create a sound that resonates with the psych rock community as well as writing songs that explore reggae, funk, melodic pop, prog, and other influences. The bands live shows are notorious for their intensity and their use of innovative and creative visual stimuli while also taking pride in song writing and the delivery of their message. Screeching yet smooth guitars, wandering yet punchy bass lines, synthesizers, driving drum beats, and powerful vocals form a one of kind soundscape.
